Welcome Back BBQ & Ice Cream Social – Sundaes, Smiles, and School Spirit!

We had an amazing Ice Cream Social this past Friday!
Our goal was to reconnect with friends, welcome new families, and celebrate the joy of our school community. We were thrilled to welcome around 450 attendees, including many new families. We went through “a bazillion gallons” of ice cream and toppings and sold over 350 hamburger or hotdog meals!

As guests arrived, they were greeted by three booths: one sharing exciting updates about our new preschool building across the street, another offering Tiger Wear for purchase, and a third where volunteers checked in/out. After passing the booths, everyone made their way to the long table full of ice cream and toppings. We even had a slushy machine for those who like a little extra chill with their dessert!

Beyond the sweet treats, there were plenty of activities and games for everyone. Families enjoyed corn hole, bocce ball, and other lawn games with friends. On the field, bouncy houses and a kickball area kept the kids active and entertained. The playground was the perfect spot for families to relax, eat, and socialize. We were also delighted by a special appearance from our school mascot, Tabby the Tiger!

Back on the blacktop, the ice cream table was a highlight. Guests enjoyed a great selection, including strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, chocolate-vanilla swirl, and neapolitan.

Overall, it was a fantastic night full of community spirit, fun activities, and—of course—ice cream!

We’d like to extend a big thank you to TIP for organizing this fantastic event and all of the volunteers who helped to make it a success!
