The First Quarter Awards Assembly was held from October 20–24, and it was a special time to recognize the hard work and achievements of our students in each grade. During the assembly, teachers recognized students in classes, electives, and sports, highlighting a wide range of behavior, talents, and accomplishments.
There are two types of awards: GIFT and L.I.V.E. awards.
GIFT Awards celebrate students’ unique talents and God-given gifts. Two notable GIFT awards include:
Leadership Award – Given to students who show the ability to guide others, demonstrate love, and serve those around them.
Creationist Award – Awarded to students who demonstrate faith by appreciating and understanding God’s creation as a gift to mankind.
L.I.V.E. Awards recognize students who demonstrate strong character and values. L.I.V.E. stands for Learning Important Values Everyday. Students can earn awards for being:
Responsible
Respectful
Compassionate
Cooperative
Courageous
The Awards Assembly is a wonderful way to celebrate our students’ talents, character, and achievements. Congratulations to all our Q1 award recipients!
