This quarter, students have a variety of exciting new electives to choose from—covering everything from logic and music to sports and science. These classes not only add fun and variety to the school day but also give students a chance to bond with others who share similar interests. A new elective can turn an ordinary routine into something fresh, engaging, and full of surprises!
The logical electives include Chess, Escape Room, Logic Grid, Puzzlebrainia, and Scratch Coding. These classes give students a chance to challenge their minds and strengthen their problem-solving skills. In Scratch Coding, students use creativity and logic to build interactive projects and animations. The Escape Room elective challenges students to solve puzzles and decode clues together—a fun way to exercise teamwork and critical thinking.
For students interested in hands-on, real-world learning, electives such as Data Analysis of Cars and Marine Biology offer exciting opportunities. The Data Analysis of Cars elective is perfect for students who dream of working with cars one day, while Marine Biology dives deep into the fascinating world of ocean life—exploring how God’s creation is both complex and beautiful.
Other electives include Baseball Strategy and Rock Band (both returning favorites from last quarter). In Baseball Strategy, students play the game while tracking statistics and learning how data and teamwork connect on the field. Meanwhile, Mr. Prior’s Rock Band elective lets students showcase their musical talent—culminating in a live performance during chapel!
These new electives bring creativity, teamwork, and discovery into every day at Tabernacle—making learning fun in and out of the classroom.
